About Us

O. Malka Architects Ltd is an Israeli Architectural firm with its offices at Haifa - Israel.

The firm is headed by Ouri Malka, an architect with over 35 years experience, working previously as a lead architect in some of the well-known architectural companies in Israel such as Yanai, Mansfeld and I. Eldar Architects.

Scope of Architectural Services

Our Architectural services include Programming, Permitting, Conceptual Design, Design Development, Detail Design and Service During Construction.

We have designed and/or assisted with the design and construction of numerous projects, from the preliminary stages of the project, through the design and supervision stage to the completion of the project. We believe that this comprehensive approach, that covers all the Architectural aspects of the project, including the overall supervision stage, is the correct way to a successful project.

Our services include the overall coordination of the design effort of the various disciplines and maintaining the project schedule.

I believe that it is our responsibility to maintain a high quality of design and design coordination that is required for a project. A great effort goes into the structuring of the project team, establishing and maintaining open communication lines to all the participants, stressing the high professional standards that must be maintained throughout the project.

International Experience

Ouri Malka has designed projects both in Israel and abroad, in countries like USA, Ireland, Germany, Hungary and China.

My experience includes collaborations with internationally renowned companies and architects outside of Israel:

• Semiconductor Manufacturing Plant in Kiryat-Gat - with IDC International (a USA Design company.) As a Site & Cub Lead, Site Master Plan and Permitting.
• Semiconductor Manufacturing Plant in Kiryat-Gat - with M.W. Zander (a Germany Design and Construction company.) As a Lead architect – Programming, SMP and Detail Design.
• Semiconductor Manufacturing Plant in Kiryat Gat - with CH2MHill USA Portland – SMP & Permitting applications.
• Philips China – GF Temporary Facility - Conceptual Design and Overall Architect.
• Air Products Company (England) – Lead Architect - 2 Facilities at Kiryat Gat.
• E.M.G.C – Power Center at Hungary - Lead Architect.

Awards & Competitions

• Ouri Malka was awarded the "Rubinstein" prize for the final project at the architectural faculty at the high institute university – Technion Haifa.
• Philips project Israel – First prize at invited architectural competition.
• BZN – Central office and control building - First prize at architectural competition.
• FOH - Front of Intel House - First prize at invited architectural competition.
